Sigma Safety Corp. is the next exhibitor lined up for a live demonstration. As part of the Capabilities and product demonstrations at OPEX WEST, Sigma will be hosting a Ballistic Helmet workshop, specifically focusing on the new DEA-FBI Ballistic Helmet Protocol V1.0-2019 and how it specifically was designed to replace the 40+yr old NIJ IIIA ‘Test’. There will be specific information about new testing parameters including back-face deformation, blunt trauma, extreme climate conditioning and performance along with video examples of how current helmets perform compared to new standards. We will have physical samples, ballistic materials discussion, and real-life examples of use in the field.
Sigma Safety Corp. has 2 capabilities demonstration slots and are scheduled for November 2nd from 10:00 am - 10:45 am and November 3rd from 3:15 pm - 4:00 pm.
